St. Andrew’sHotel
The property originally contained a single building constructed in 1875. It soon became known as the ‘Scots Club’, before becoming the St. Andrew’s Hotel in 1891. A newly refurbished and expanded hotel was re-opened in 1919. During the second world war, the British government used the hotel as a rest and recreation centre for British servicemen.
Today, the Georgian style country mansion is owned and operated by the Jetwing Group as a charming British tourist hotel. Enjoy a game of snooker at the hotel’s 117-year-old table, and maybe go for a spot of golf at the neighbouring golf course.
